I suggest that the BrainDAO set aside an allotment of Treasury held IQ to use to reward BrainDAO participation for the next year.
Many top DAOs like Aave, Lido, Uniswap, Compound, Gnosis, MakerDAO and Yearn actively reward meaningful DAO participation with token rewards.
By following suit, BrainDAO can gather thought leaders, analysts and strategists from other DAO’s to support and upgrade the BrainDAO and IQ Propotal / Ecosystem.
I suggest we start with a 15M-30M IQ DAO Pilot Grant program to reward BrainDAO members, with rewards shared between proposal authors, DAO members who actively discuss proposals, and hiIQ voters who vote on each proposal.
1M IQ distributed as a base reward for proposals that are approved.
For proposals that make a measurable positive impact on the BrainDAO Treasury, add IQ rewards equal to 8% of the increased gains created by the proposal during the first year, capped at 5M IQ per propoasal.
For example, a proposal to convert 1M of BrainDAO’s frxUSD to $1M worth of sfrxUSD, resulting in $60-$100K+ more annual revenue for the BrainDAO would reward BrainDAO participants with $4,800-$8,000 in IQ.
For proposals that make a notable long-term positive impact on the value of IQ, add an additional 1M-3M IQ in rewards perportionate to the amount of lasting price impact on IQ.
Quarterly Retroactive IQ rewards to begin 3 months after a proposal is approved and determined beneficial.
IQ DAO rewards to be distributed 50% to contributing authors, 35% to proposal voters, proportionate to voting weight, and 15% to dao members who participate in the discussions proportional to characters written and intellectual value offered.
BrainDAO members that lock their IQ rewards from BrainDAO participation into a 3 year or longer hiIQ lock receive 50% more IQ rewards.
